Oswego County student heads to regional spelling bee finals

Cooper Pauldine, a sixth-grader at Kingsford Park School, has earned a spot in the Final Regional Round of the Scripps Spelling Bee. He’s one of 24 students from Central New York to advance and the only representative from Oswego County. The regional competition will be held on March 21 at Syracuse University, where top spellers will compete for a chance to move on to the national level. This is Cooper’s third year placing at the school level and his first time reaching regionals.
