2 killings as a teen, decades behind bars: A Mass. man struggles to leave prison

After being involved in multiple fatal stabbings as a teenager, a Massachusetts man has been struggling for decades to successfully leave prison and reenter society.

Emmett Snow, who is currently in MCI-Norfolk, went in front of the Massachusetts Parole Board in November 2025. On March 17, the parole board wrote that it was split on what to do: Should he take more time to plan his release from prison or is he finally ready?
