Former Amarillo police officer pleads guilty to DWI, sentenced to 1 year probation, fine

AMARILLO, Texas (KVII) — A former Amarillo police officer was sentenced to one year of probation and given a $500 fine after pleading guilty to a DWI charge.

Around 8:10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, officers were called to a minor traffic crash where the caller said a red truck hit her vehicle in the 2200 block of Wolflin Ave.
