BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Louisiana Attorney General Liz Murrill is asking that three judges be removed from nearly 100 cases in the 19th Judicial District Court.
The request comes after the three judges filed a federal lawsuit against Murrill, Governor Jeff Landry and the Louisiana Secretary of State at the end of February.
The judges involved are Chief Judge Donald R. Johnson, Judge Ronald R. Johnson and Judge Gail Horne Ray. The 19th Judicial District Court is in Baton Rouge…
