EUNICE, La. (KLFY) — James Price III, 32, was arrested in Eunice after a traffic stop led to the discovery of a modified firearm, suspected drugs and nearly $8,000 in cash. St. Landry Parish Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz reported that Price faces multiple charges, including marijuana distribution and illegal possession of a weapon.
Price now faces five separate charges including distribution of marijuana and possession of a Schedule IV substance. Other charges include transactions involving drug offenses, possession of a firearm in the presence of a controlled dangerous substance and a seat belt violation.
The arrest occurred on the 800 block of Beulah Street while narcotics detectives were conducting a criminal patrol.
