In 2025, the Downers Grove Fire Department answered more than 8,000 calls for service, showing its round-the-clock commitment to the community. About 62% of those calls were for rescue and emergency medical services, while others included service calls (15%), false alarms (13%), good intent calls (6%), and hazardous conditions (3%).
