💧 Kansas City approves $1.6M for water and street projects

Kansas City has approved two major infrastructure contracts. The Water Services Department will move forward with a $1.1 million progressive design-build contract with Burns & McDonnell Engineering for the Northland Transmission, Pumping and Storage project. The Public Works Department also authorized a $542,670 amendment to its agreement with Crawford Murphy & Tilly for design work on 31st Street from Linwood to Van Brunt Boulevard, bringing that contract’s total to $1.7 million. Both ordinances were recognized as having accelerated effective dates, allowing work to begin sooner.
