SCHENECTADY — A man who was on the run from police for more than a decade after being charged with criminal sex acts in New Jersey was arrested in Schenectady on Thursday, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.
A warrant for the arrest of Adan Lemus, 49, was issued in 2014 after he didn’t appear in court to face charges of criminal sexual contact, according to a news release from the U.S. Marshals Service. He’s accused of using “physical force on a victim for sexual gratification,” police said.
