Governor Moore announces LufCo expansion in Aberdeen with 120 new jobs

ABERDEEN, MD—Governor Wes Moore announced Thursday that Lufburrow & Company is expanding its Maryland operations by opening a new research, development, and manufacturing facility in Aberdeen, a move expected to create 120 full-time jobs.

The company, known as LufCo, purchased a 73,000-square-foot building at 1204 Technology Drive. The site formerly housed the Battelle Eastern Science and Technology Center and will now be used to establish advanced manufacturing capabilities for microelectronics. LufCo currently employs more than 100 people in the state.
