Virginia writers share their work at Festival of the Book

Annual humanities event runs through Sunday in downtown Charlottesville

The 2026 Virginia Festival of the Book kicked off Friday in Charlottesville.

Among the activities at the city’s main branch of the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library was a panel discussion led by Editor, Poet, and Randolph College English Professor Laura-Gray Street (left) of Lynchburg.
