MATTHEWS, N.C. — Folks having dinner or walking through historic Matthews may have seen several police cars near the railroad tracks Saturday evening. Matthews Police Department says it was responding to a man wielding a knife in the air.
The incident happened in downtown Matthews on North Trade Street. Police say the man was arrested for resisting and carrying a concealed weapon.
No injuries have been reported…
