HOUSTON — A grieving Alvin ISD community came together Saturday morning to honor the life of 8-year-old Nicholas Gray, a Pomona Elementary student who died last month after choking on a grape at school.
Dozens of friends, family members, teachers and classmates gathered at a park in Manvel for a memorial bubble release — a tribute his mother says reflects who he was.
