COLUMBUS, Ohio (WCMH) — A man that turned himself in to the Franklin County jail this week after being charged with a January murder will remain in jail without bond.
Marcellus James, 29, had an arraignment hearing scheduled for Friday in Franklin County municipal court after a two-day continuance was granted earlier this week. However, that hearing was bypassed after defense counsel waived bond and James has been remanded until March 27 when a preliminary hearing will take place.

James was arrested Monday after turning himself in on one count of murder in the shooting death of 31-year-old James Pettigrew Jr. on Jan. 27. For a previous report on this story view the video player above.
James and 35-year-old Molly Ann Jones were each dealt a murder charge two weeks ago by police. Ann Jones was arrested in late February and is scheduled to have a preliminary hearing on April 20. Two other persons of interest have yet to be identified or charged by police…
