Guilford County Schools tip line helps middle schoolers deal with mental health issues: ‘One success story out of this is worth everything’

GUILFORD COUNTY, NC (WGHP) — In its first year of use, a Guilford County Schools tip line is picking up a significant number of mental health-related tips among middle schoolers.

Safety Superintendent Mike Richey says that is in part by design.

The Say Something anonymous tip line, required by law in NC schools, is a 24/7 line monitored by the Sandy Hook Promise Foundation.
