GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) -Members of the Gainesville chapter of the Links are hosting their annual Black Family Wellness Expo on Saturday morning.
This potentially lifesaving event is open to everyone, and they’re offering so many health-related options, especially those that affect black and brown communities.
“We’ll be addressing different health disparities,” Alena Bennet, president of the Gainesville Links Inc, shared. “Like stroke, heart disease, diabetes, vision, dental, and we’re going to address food disparity. We’ll have a food van here that will show people how to prepare healthy meals.”…
