(KRON) — Fremont police said officers responded Monday to a High Street apartment complex for a report of an assault with a deadly weapon.

“The victim and subject were conducting a child exchange of their 1-year-old son,” police said. “After the exchange, while the juvenile was in the subject’s vehicle, the subject intentionally rammed the victim’s vehicle.”
The suspect rammed the victim’s vehicle three more times as they drove toward the Fremont Police Department, according to police. The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived but allegedly agreed to meet the victim in another city.
