The California Coastal Commission (CCC) last week approved a multi-year permit, with conditions, for the Newport Beach International Boat Show.
Commissioners unanimously voted on March 11 in favor of a coastal development permit for five-year authorization for the boat show, including the installation of 177 temporary floating dock units supported by 12, 12-inch diameter piles and 75 helical anchors in Lido Marina for approximately three weeks.
