LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) — A 48-year-old woman is dead after a Friday fire at the Highlands Cooperative Association, a housing complex located in South Lansing, according to Lansing Fire Marshal Jared Nisch.
The housing complex is located on the south side of the city of Lansing near the intersection off Haag Road and Georgetown Boulevard. Officials tell 6 News fire originated in Unit 1714.
At this time, 6 News has not confirmed how the fire started, the extent of the damage, or if anyone else was injured.
