The City of Lakewood is offering cooling centers for residents who need a comfortable place to stay cool. Locations include Bloomfield Park at 21420 Pioneer Blvd, Mayfair Park at 5720 Clark Ave, and Burns Community Center at 5510 Clark Ave. Mayfair and Bloomfield Parks are open Monday–Friday 3–6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m.–6 p.m., and Sunday 12–6 p.m. Burns Community Center is open weekdays 7 a.m.–6 p.m..
