LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Good news and bad news time. Your weekend is looking absolutely beautiful—and Sunday could be downright historic. But we’ve got a wet pattern rolling in that’s gonna hang around for most of next week.
This Weekend: Get Outside!
Saturday? Perfect. Partly cloudy, highs in the mid to upper 70s—basically the kind of day you’ve been waiting for. Don’t bother with an umbrella, but throw on a light jacket in the morning and you’re good to go.
But Sunday? That’s the real story. We’re talking highs in the mid-80s, and some places could actually break temperature records that have stood for over 100 years. If you’ve got outdoor plans, Just keep an eye on the sky late evening as storm chances increase, but you’ll have most of the day to enjoy it.
Next Week: Yeah, It’s Gonna Rain
Monday’s when it all changes. Showers move in and it’s noticeably cooler—highs only in the low to mid-50s. That’s a pretty big drop from the weekend. Tuesday and Wednesday? Still wet, still cool. Highs in the upper 50s to low 60s with showers sticking around.
Thursday’s the worst of it—that’s your rainiest day, so definitely have your umbrella ready. Friday doesn’t help much either—showers are still in the picture. But hey, at least we’re heading toward the end of the week.
Next Weekend’s Looking Better
Good news for next weekend: Saturday clears up with mostly sunny skies and highs in the low to mid-50s. Sunday keeps improving with highs in the low 60s and partly cloudy conditions…
