2 killed after head-on collision in west Alabama

WEST ALABAMA. (WBRC) – Two people have died after a multi-vehicle crash in west Alabama, officials say.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says 20-year-old Abigail Woods, of Brookwood, was killed after her vehicle collided head-on with another vehicle on U.S. 43 near near mile marker 207 just north of Tuscaloosa.

ALEA says one of the passengers in the other vehicle involved in the head-on collision, 18-year-old Sierra N. Jackson, of Cottondale, was also killed in the crash. The driver of the vehicle was injured and taken to an area hospital for treatment…
