Myrtle Beach police warn of quick response to unlicensed spring break events

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Myrtle Beach police issued a warning Saturday to would-be organizers of unsanctioned spring break events: Don’t bother.

“Unlawful gatherings that pose a threat to our community’s safety will not be tolerated and will be dispersed immediately,” the department said in a Facebook post. “If you are advertising, planning or facilitating an event without proper approval, you will be held accountable.”
