From April 6 to May 1, Autauga County Schools is running its ‘No Absence April’ campaign to boost daily attendance and cut down on chronic absenteeism. Students who show up every day with no check-ins or check-outs will be entered into weekly drawings for 30 prizes worth $30 each. Those who keep perfect attendance all month will qualify for a grand prize drawing for 20 gift cards valued at $200 each, with winners recognized at the May board meeting.
