‘Like an Explosion’: Out-of-Control Driver Kills Cyclist, Injures 4 in Deadly NYC Crash

New York City, New York — A deadly crash in Harlem has left one cyclist dead and four others injured after an out-of-control driver sped through a busy street, striking multiple victims and vehicles Thursday night.

The incident happened around 8:05 p.m. near West 125th Street and Frederick Douglass Boulevard, where police say a 49-year-old man driving a red Hyundai Tucson lost control and caused a chain-reaction crash.

Authorities say the driver struck two cyclists before crashing into several vehicles, including a parked NYPD cruiser and a tractor-trailer truck
