A motorcyclist was killed Friday evening after losing control on Interstate 5 and being run over by another motorist’s vehicle in south Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP’s South Sacramento office received a report around 10 p.m. of a crash on Interstate 5 near Pocket Road. Officers found the rider in the roadway in the No. 3 lane, the agency said.
“Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to overturn and eject the rider into the lane,” the CHP said in a news release. “The rider was subsequently struck by a passing vehicle.”…
