State backs new campus at former Marketplace Mall

New York will invest $4 million to support development of a new Mary Cariola Center campus at the former Marketplace Mall in Henrietta, Gov. Kathy Hochul announced.

The project will transform part of the vacant mall into an educational facility for students with intellectual and developmental disabilities and complex medical needs.

The state funding adds to a $25 million donation from Tom Golisano and will support construction of specialized classrooms, therapy spaces, adaptive technology labs and recreational areas…
