Standout Students: Zachary native awarded scholarship prize from law firm for anti-distracted driving video

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — Dudley DeBosier Injury Lawyers announced the grand prize scholarship winner for a campaign video advocating against distracted driving.

According to the law firm, Zachary native Tafari Beard Jr., 20, used his learnings as a University of Louisiana at Lafayette student majoring in film and media studies to earn a $4,444 scholarship award.
