Sometimes you’re able to tell what a basketball coach’s legacy is going to be, or at least part of it, while they are still coaching.
Fred Hoiberg has been the head men’s basketball coach at Nebraska since 2019. It took seven years, but Hoiberg led the Cornhuskers to the NCAA Tournament and helped the team pick up its first NCAA Tournament win in program history when Nebraska beat Troy 76-47.
