Earlier this month, Motel Bear Lake owner Marta Turnbull stepped away from her business to lobby for Great Lakes conservation at Capitol Hill during “Great Lakes Week.”
She traveled to Washington, D.C. to meet with lawmakers and representatives, to push for policies related to water protection, dam infrastructure, invasive species and funding.
