PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A woman is dead after being hit by a driver who then took off near the Phoenix-Glendale border Friday morning.
Just before noon, officers were called out to the crash near 43rd Avenue and Orangewood Avenue, which is south of Northern Avenue.
When first responders arrived, they found the 75-year-old Maria Leal seriously hurt. She was then rushed to the hospital, where she later died…
