Tacoma’s Powder Room Champagne Bar, a bubbly-focused brunch and cocktail spot in the Stadium District, has gone quiet after less than three years in business. Owner Cameron Gilmore shared on Instagram Thursday that she is packing up for Fort Worth, and by Friday afternoon the front door at 12 N Tacoma Ave. was locked. For now, the storefront appears closed to the public.
Owner Says She Is Texas-Bound
According to The News Tribune, Gilmore posted Thursday that she will be relocating to Fort Worth and that the Tacoma outpost would stop service. A reporter for The News Tribune noted the door was locked around 2 p.m. Friday, and that Instagram seemed to be the main way regulars were finding out about the closure.
