BUFFALO, N.Y. — A big step in finding out who will sit on Buffalo mass shooter Payton Gendron’s federal trial jury came Friday.
Three-thousand mailed jury questionnaires will be going out by the end of March to potential jurors in Western New York. The hope is to whittle that jury pool down to about 1,200 people, who would then do more detailed, in-person questionnaires at the federal courthouse.
