More than 55 shave heads at Irmo event to support fight against childhood cancer

IRMO S.C. (WACH) — Dozens of volunteers in Irmo showed their support for children with cancer Saturday by shaving their heads at Craft and Draft as part of the 20th annual St. Baldrick’s head-shaving event.

More than 55 people participated, sitting in the chair to have their heads shaved to benefit the St. Baldrick’s Foundation.

Organizers set a goal of raising $100,000 for childhood cancer research…
