After six months, the We Corny restaurant is leaving the Flagship City Food Hall and going back to its food-truck roots, according to Drew Whiting, CEO of the Erie Downtown Development Corp.
In its place will be Khir Damascus, featuring shawarma, which is roast meat shaved off a vertical spit, as well as Syrian and Middle Eastern food. The Food Hall, at 22 N. Park Row, has had a shawarma tenant before, and it left, but this time, the former employee said he’s ready to have his own place.
