Fresno airport guides public on aiding TSA amid shutdown

FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Amid an ongoing partial government shutdown, the Fresno Yosemite International Airport (FAT) is thanking the public for supporting federal agents.

According to AP, TSA officers have worked without pay since the U.S. Department of Homeland Security partly shut down on Feb. 14.

FAT says during this period, their TSA team greatly appreciates the generosity shown by travelers; however, TSA agents cannot receive gifts while on duty.
