Power restored for 1K homes in northeast Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – More than a thousand Indiana Michigan Power customers can now turn on their lights after a power outage on the northeast side of the city.

As of 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, approximately 1,127 homes had power restored, according to I&M’s outage map. The outage was first reported by WANE 15 at 2:10 p.m.

The affected areas spanned from the Brookside Park neighborhood north of St Joe Center Road to the intersection of Stellhorn and Reed Roads.
