Driver arrested after road rage incident on I-80

At 2:57 PM on March 20, 2026, traffic on Interstate 80 slowed when a driver stopped his vehicle, approached another car with a knife, and made threats. CHP Oakland Area officers responded and located the suspect driving a Lincoln Navigator. The driver exited the freeway, discarded the knife on the off-ramp, and was later taken into custody without incident.
