LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) – Here’s the deal: we’re having an absolutely gorgeous day right now, but things are about to change. Storm chances are possible this evening and overnight, with damaging wind and hail as the main threats. Keep an eye on the radar as the sun goes down and stay weather aware.

Right now, it’s quiet and dry. The morning and afternoon are beautiful with plenty of sunshine and highs in the low to mid 80s. Some places could see record breaking highs. Lexington’s current record is 82° set back in 1907. Perfect day to get outside and soak it up while you can. Grab lunch outside, take a walk, or knock out those outdoor tasks you’ve been putting off.
