WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) – The Battleship North Carolina received a new marker honoring forgotten patriots of the Revolutionary War.
The Daughters of the American Revolution dedicated an America 250 Patriot Marker at the battleship. The marker is part of a nationwide effort to recognize people and places where the American spirit of liberty was born.
