EASTON, Pa. — A radio rock band that had 21 Top 40 hits in the 1960s and ’70s, is coming to Easton’s State Theatre, it was announced.

And a timeless, heartwarming holiday classic state play that has enchanted audiences for generations also will return to the theater, it was announced.

Three Dog Night, which from 1969-75 had Billboard Singles chart hits such as “Mama Told Me (Not to Come),” “Joy to the World” and “Black and White,” will perform at 7 p.m. Sept. 27…
