It looks like North Carolina is moving one step closer to breaking ties when Hubert Davis and that means the Todd Golden-to-Tar Heels chatter is going to reach a fever. Even the guys in Vegas seem to think Golden is the favorite to become the next coach in Chapel Hill.
Golden, who has already won a championship at Florida and has the Gators as a No. 1 seed in the South Region this year, likely isn’t going anywhere. He’s happy in Gainesville. He’s already won a title and he received a contract extension in the offseason. More importantly he knows he will get what he needs to succeed at Florida.
