COLUMBIA, S.C. — The warm temperatures we had over the weekend are here to stay, with a few cooler days mixed in. Chances for isolated to scattered showers arrive variably at the start and end of the week.
Variable highs this week
Much like last week, temperatures won’t be very steady when it comes to common highs. We had a major cold front pass through the Midlands last week, then we jumped back into the mid-to-upper 80s by the weekend. These 80s stick around for Monday, keeping us on the hotter side of things.
A stationary front will creep in on Monday night and allow our temperatures to take a dip, causing a +/- 20 degree difference in highs. The 60s and 70s will hang around for a day or two before we quickly return to above average highs in the 80s.
Rain chances are present
This next week will stay moderately dry…But a few rain chances are not out of the question, specifically at the start and end of the work week. Monday will have the higher end with a chance of 30%. Scattered to isolated showers can be expected on Monday. Sunshine will still be present through the day…
