WESTLAKE, Ohio – An officer stopped a van on Sperry Drive at 9 a.m. on March 10 after learning that the registered owner of the vehicle was wanted on a felony warrant for probation violation out of Franklin County.
The van stopped on Columbia Road near Detroit Road, and the male driver, who was the registered owner, was accompanied by a female passenger. Neither had a valid license, and both were wanted on arrest warrants, according to the police department.
While completing an inventory of the van before towing it, the officers found a small container that had a label reading “drugs inside.” The officers concluded that it was labeled correctly, as it contained a white crystal-like substance suspected to be methamphetamine, according to the police.
