The Roost Outpost Coffee Co. Confirms Closure After A Decade In Hoboken

The Roost Outpost Coffee Co., located at 55 1st Street in downtown Hoboken, announced that its café will close after ten years in the city. The business confirmed through a social media post that Sunday, March 22, 2026, will be the last day of full service.

The announcement followed earlier discussions with the building’s ownership about extending the café’s lease. In a message shared publicly, the Roost team wrote, “Unfortunately, we must inform you that our café was not able to secure a lease extension for our location at 55 1st Street. Without an executed lease extension, we will not be able to stay and continue operating. It is with a heavy heart that we inform you that this will be our last week of full service, wrapping up Sunday, March 22nd.”

Customers were invited to visit during the final days. The message continued, “Please stop by to grab a drink and say hi to our baristas!”…
