CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The old Harbor Bridge is slowly disappearing from the skyline as crews continue dismantling the structure.
Local photographer Davide Perez has captured the bridge’s transformation through his camera lens, from the construction of the new bridge to the demolition of the old.
“It’s kind of, kind of sad to see a lot of it gone,” Perez said. “Ever since I can remember, I’ve been either running the bridge or taking pictures or videos of the bridge. It’s a passion of mine just because I’ve watched it my entire life. Being a runner, it’s always been a challenge to run over it and back. Watching it come down before my eyes is quite amazing.”…
