DeForest Woman Killed In I-90 Crash Near Windsor

The morning commute on Interstate 90 turned tragic Wednesday when a 32-year-old DeForest woman was fatally injured after her car collided with a semitruck in the town of Windsor. The crash happened around 6:50 a.m. in the southbound lanes near mile marker 129. She was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. Southbound lanes were shut down for roughly three hours as emergency crews worked the scene and traffic was rerouted, as per WKOW.

According to WKOW, the Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office identified the victim as Victoria J. Biehl, 32, of DeForest. A preliminary forensic examination found that she died from injuries sustained in the crash, the medical examiner told the station.
