Starting Monday, March 23, Classen Drive between Dewey Avenue and Walker Ave will be permanently closed as construction begins on The Eddie.
The site of the former EMSA headquarters located at at 1100 Classen Drive is being transformed into a five-story mixed-use apartment and retail site in the heart of Midtown. The property will also include an amphitheater, walkable plaza and a small park.
The development is one of four in Midtown that sought support totaling to more than $64 million from tax increment financing by the Oklahoma City Council. The TIF request for The Eddie totaled to $2,533,025…
