More than 100 federal, state and local law enforcement officers did a little spring cleaning of their own over the past week in southwest Missouri.
The result of what was called “Operation Spring Cleaning”, according to the Justice Department, was 85 federal indictments charging 101 defendants with offenses which included firearms, narcotics, and sex offenses.
During the investigations, law enforcement seized 141 firearms, more than 11.2 pounds of cocaine, 1.5 pounds of fentanyl, about 205 pounds of marijuana, more than 88 pounds of methamphetamine, and more than two pounds of psychedelic mushrooms…
