Windy and much cooler Sunday

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A strong cold front will move through Kansas on today, bringing gusty north winds and much cooler temperatures.

North winds will gust up to 50 miles per hour behind the front throughout the day. This will lead to extreme fire danger for most of the state, including south-central Kansas. High temperatures will reach the 60s for most of the state with 80s across far southeast Kansas.

Even cooler temperatures are expected Monday with highs in the lower 60s. A rapid warm up will return in the following days with highs back in the 70s and 80s by Tuesday, and 80s and low 90s Wednesday and Thursday…
