The Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City will host its annual Eggstravaganza on April 4 and April 5, offering two days of family-friendly Easter festivities, train rides, live entertainment and hands-on activities, according to a news release.
“Taking place from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day, the event invites families to celebrate the season with a variety of interactive experiences throughout the museum grounds. Guests can enjoy unlimited rides on the museum’s historic McKeen and Edwards motor cars, which begin operating at 10 a.m. and depart every 30 minutes, with the final ride leaving at 2:30 p.m.,” according to the release. “Additional activities include handcar rides, live music, food vendors and an Easter-themed educational program, along with admission to the museum’s Jacobsen Interpretive Center and the Annex.”
Children can participate in the event’s Easter egg hunts, scheduled for 1 p.m. for ages 5 and under and 1:20 p.m. for ages 6 and older. On Saturday only, visitors can also meet animals from Stockton Well Keystones…
